Is Zoro Luffy's Right Hand Man. Luffy is giving Zoro just the right amount of support. The same way Luffy really isnt.
The boy was so similar to Luffy it hurt. Zoro - The main reason why Zoro is number 2 is because he is Luffys right hand man second to the captain you get the idea. Oda has written it such that Sanji stands up for and directs the crew.
But even if he did hes not as strong as zoro or sanji now.
Because every weekmonth theres a new flavor of the weekmonth but the core of the story is always the same. Luffy simply wants freedom to do whatever he wants and become Pirate King while at it and Zoro wants to train and be the world strongest swordsman. Luffys right-hand man and while thats not necessarily true Zoro is the closest to him out of all the Straw Hat pirates. Joining Luffy in Shells Town Zoro dreams of becoming the Worlds Strongest Swordsman.
